it is not working: 24 hours later it shows 50 pounds pressure

Installed easily once I got some Teflon tape for the threads to stop it from leaking. I pressurized the system, started the pump and still have a 0 psi reading on the gauge. Still 0 after an hour. It is installed right before the membrane and the system is producing RO water.
After a day it started to work, maybe it was stuck but it's working now.
